Explosives Carried Out oi Blazing Building , SYDNEY," Jan. 27. Two iiremen were injured when fighting a iire which gutted six storeys of the wholesale store of W. S. Friend and Co. in the city. The damage is estimated at £35.000. Over 6ne hundred poliee were required to keep the thousands of onlookors out of the danger-zone. About twenty firemen risked their lives carrying out a smouldering chest which was filled with explosives.
