WELLINGTON, jan. 27w 1 Stated hy the police to have givea himself up entirely volunt'arily, there being no evidence against him, Leslie Knopp, aged 27, storeman, was charged with breaking, and entering ihe premises of the Tui Bottling Co. where he was employed and stealing six bottles of heer valued at 5s. The story told the police by the accused was that when given the keya when he was working overtime he had a' duplicate set made and used these5 about half a dozen times to get «m aR quantities of liquor. , He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. , Donald Thomas Ball, aged 29, mechanic, Ronald Maurice ChalmerSj aged 25, mechanic, and James Harrington, aged 25, faetory hand, who were charged with breaking and entering the same premises and stealing .liquor valued at 20s, were further remanded.
