Minister's Acfion in Stay-in Strike STRONG OBJECTION At a meeting of the Hawire's Eay piovincial execntiv© of the New Zealand Farmers' Union held at Waipukurau on Tuesday and presided over by the provincial president, Mr C. R. Edgecombe, the following resolution was carried unanimously ; — "That this provincial. executive strongly protests against the action o£ the Minister of Labour and the Labour G o\ ernment in encouraging t-he freezmg^workers to break the awa1: 1 of the Aibitration Court iu the receut siajin strike at the Auckland freezmg woks and draws their attention to the sauctity of agreements and tho necessity'of enforcing the law."
