CUPID'S BOW UNWISE ON MOST WOMEN'S FACES
"Lipstick may be made to enhance a lovely mouth or to lessen the disadvantages of one that is not attractive. But it is inadvisable to attempt to chang© the shape of one's mouth," an international authority on beauty culture declared recently in New York. The oft-attempted Cupid's bow simply does not "belong" on many faces A wide mouth is. a sign of generosity, and it is a pity to try to hide it behind a Cupid's bow. "To giye_ th© impresgion of a gmaller mouth, try emphasising the colour in the centre of the lips, but be sure to cax-ry the colour to the edges. Do not leav© a pale margin around the bright rouge j many people se© you quite closely in a strong light, and if the shading is not carefuliy done, th© effect is spoiled."
