INTER-HOUSE SPORTS
The Hastingsg _ Amateur .Athletic and Cyeling Club will conduct the second annual women 's inter-house sp.ir{)s meeting at Nelson Park on Thursday, February 4, at 7.45 p.m. The offieials of "thq club and the instructors of the various teams have been busy for the past few weeks in preparing everything fpr this wonderful night 's entertainment. Nine teams have nominated, and they have all been praetising hard to. try to lift the Alexander Challenge Shield from the present holders, Westerman ' and Co. The following teams will be participatingg: — Baird's, colours brown and white; Bon Marche Ltd., navy and white; Hunt's, red, white and blue; J. R. McKenzie's, blue and white ;; Roach's Ltd., white and gold; Woolworth's, white with red monogram and ifaeings; J. Wattie Canneries, blue and gold (two teams); Westerman . and Co., White, red ano blue. As the public will remember what a suhcess these sports were last year, they can rest assured that on Thursday, February 4, they will eclipse last year, and those who do not 'happen to attend will be very disappointed at missing the speetacular mter-house sports meeting.
