Miss Audrey Smith, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. B. Smith, Wairoa, who is engaged in tbe nursing profession at Hanmer, is on a boliday visit to" ber parents. Mrs P. Dolbell (nee Miss Susie Neill), a resident of Wairoa 29 years ago, wben ber fatber, Mr Robert Neill, was beadmaster of the High Scbool and her busban'd, Mr Pbil Dolbell, was Wairoa 's only chemist, has been revisiting the town. Mrs Watson and children are spending a boliday at Opoutama. Mrs Artbur Williams and family, Wellington, are on a boliday visit to Wairoa. Tbe Misses Ritchie, Muriwai, Auckland, who have been tbe guests of Mr F. C. and Miss Palmer, "Mangatoitoi," Weber, have gone to New Plymouth. Messrs W. and D. Bond and J. Francis, Weber, are on a motor camping tour and propose co'vering tbe Taranaki and Auckland districts. Mr and Mrs A. G- Allau, Otalcc, who have been visiting Mr and Mrs G. C. Holt King, Weber, left by car for Napier. Mrs' Leslie Seatter, who bas been staying with ber parents, Mr and Mrs C. Crosse, "Ben Eoyal," Weber, bas returned to ber bome at Kiritaki. Miss L. Paget, known to many in Norsewood district, and an old pupil of tbe local scbool, is a patient in Rawhiti private hospital, Dannevirke, and is to undergo an operation. , Miss C. Parsons, Norsewood, who bas been tbe guest of Mr and Mrs C. Howard, oi Oroua Downs, Foxton, returned last evening. Mr and Mrs T. Lund, oi tbe Taumarunui district, and Mrs C. Irvine, Wellington, attended the Stubbs — Hansen wedding at Norsewood. Mrs F. Hallgarth, Te Uri, is sgending a boliday in Hastings. Miss Helen McDonald, wbo bas been on a tour oi tbe Nortb Island, is visiting Ormondville, wbere she is the guest of Miss Dorothy Hosking. Mrs H. M. Lund, Wellington, is on a visit to her sister, Mr W. Ellis, of Kopua, before returning to her bome at Tauranga. Mr and Mrs S. Hubbard and family. Waipukurau, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs G. Sowry, Mangamutu.
