Round-the-World Flight
Mrs Amelia Earhart Putnam, the famous American flyer, announced her intention of flying round the world. She has tentatively made plans to follow the China clipper route aeross the Pacific on the first leg of the flight. She said she had abandoned her intention of visiting Australia due to the lack of suitable landing fields and her desire to make the nearest possible equatorial circuit.
