"DON'T CET PERSONAL" "Don't Get Personal" which begins its rnn at the State Theatre this evenIs a rollicking romance in a flivver on the open road ; a laughable yarn about two carefree lads and a lovely lass. Sally Eilers is sCen as the impetuous girl; Jimmy Dunn and Pinky Tomlin are roving modern youths and the flivver is played by Lizzie the Fourteenth. Parts of thirteen other cars were used in creating Lizzie. Besides the rich humour of the situations and the lines, the picture offers music of contagious tunefulness. The,re are two numbers 6ung by Pinky Tomlin, "I Won't Take No For An Answer" and "Barnyard Serenade." Pinky wrote thes© selections especially for the production. He will be recalled as the composer of another song success, "Object of My Affections." The fun begins at the outset, when the two young, men offer their 6ervices at public auction. A maiden lady of determined appearanc© is about to take then\ over with a bid of either two hearts or two dollars, when Sally doubles her and wins by flnesse. Then the trio starts to tour the country to bring Sally to her home, which the boys learn, afted closing the deal, is 1000 miles away. The situations become more hilarious as the complications increase. "Don't Get Personal" is something you must see, if you will accept a bit of personal advice.
