Motor-Cycle Skids Into Tram

WELLINGTON, Jan 25. Fatal injuries were recejved by William Charjes Avenall, tailor, aged about 23 years, of Miramar, when tlie inotor eyclo he was driving collided with a tram ,in Moxham Avenue, Kilbernie, shortly before 1 p.m. to-day. It is believed his neck was frhctured, and in. additiqn he received' a fraetured left thigb and fractured riphti wrist. • His brnther, H. N. Avenall, also a tailoi^ was a pillion rider on the motor-oynle. He was removed to hospital suffering injuries to his back and slioukler but later was able tp return homo The accident is believed to have been caused through the motor-cycle skidding on wet bitumen.
