Fina! Runs Before Thursday's Race Meeting ONLY ONE VISITOR

WANGANUI, Jan. 26. The weather was fine for the final Scallops for the Wanganui meeting opening on Thursday. Number one grass track was in good order. H. Du« lieu is the only visiting trainer to put in an appearance so far, but several are coming to-night. Entail (F. Latham) went six fur% longs by himself in 1.15, the first halfmile in 49 3-5secs. The Cup eandidattB did it nicely. Imposture (R. Morrison) and Missal (Latham) ran five in 1.3, the first quor* ter-mile taking 245secs. They fijnisKea together. - Scarf Dance finished a length ahead of Gay Marionette after half a mile in. 50 l-5secs. Harikino and Roma Rua. oovered fivo furlongs in 1.3. Collodion and Reipar did six farlongs in 1.16 2-5, the last five furlong* taking 1.3 2-5. The former waa a lengjth in front. Royal Secret, Red Sand, Sanhedriis^ Airing, and Pin Money did aolid p«ping and' Etiquette did five furlongs fit 1.3 4r5. 1 Court Arma went a round cf schooling hurdles with Bazaine - the latter finished in front but cloutecU % couple of hurdles hard. Court Arma jumped cleanly bu % could have done better.
