Move for PostpoR-ement Only The decision of the New Zealand Swimming Council to abandon the national swimming championships this year on account of the epidemic of infantije paralysis in the South Island does not meet with the approval of the Hawke 's Bay Swimming Centre, which resolyed last night to ask the New Zealand Council to reconsider • its decision and to hold the senior ehampionships if possible towards the end - of March"I think it would be a. great pity it the chompionships are definitely abandoned, mainly because the opportunity will be lost this year of any of our swimmers going for New Zealand titlep," said the president, Mr A- IRainbow. "My opinion is that we should approach the New Zealand Swimming Council regarding having the championship meeting postponed, and not abandoned." On the motion of Mr C.
