Tbe recovery by the Police Depattof Oxpenses incurred in i'emovihg &n Injured person :to hospital was disoussed by the Napier Magistrate's Coiirt yesterday, When Senior-Sergeant W. Pender asked that the expenses be included in the costs of a case. Mr J. Miller, S.M., who was on the Bench, said that the Court had no power to' make such an order, and suggested that the police make application to the Justice Department for the recovery of the expenses.
