Hawke's Bay's wool cheque to be paid to growers next Saturday for wool sold at the second Napier sale on January 16 is expected to totai about £600,000— the best total realised in this provlnce tot maoy years. Approximately 30,000 bales were sold, and th# average price a baie is reckoned to be £23, The fule atneng brOkers is to pay, out their cheques to growers 14 flaya after the wool is sold, Next Saturday, therefore, considerably more than half a milion pounds will b# circulated throughout Hawke's Bay.
