OYSTER-FISHING LICENCED
To prevent over-fishing of the oyster heds in Foveaux Strait, th£ oyster fishing industry is to be brought under the licensing provisions of tbe Industrial Efficiency Act. Tbe new regulations, which were announcpd by the Minister of Marine, tbe Hon, p. Fraser, were described to-uigbt by men in the indtlstry as^ likely to dox gl'eat good and place fishing on an ecdnomie basis.
