Played with a zest and effervesence that match the title4 the picture follows the impetuoUs' story of a gambjer at life and love, as he skirts tragpdy and pl%ys at romance. The titi© role qf "Cnampagne Charlie" is taken by handsome Paul Kavanagh, while his leading lady is Helen Wood,* lovely Southern belle who plays her first major role in this production. Tliomfes Beck, Miima Gombell and Herbert Mundin are the chief actors in the strong supporting cast of- £,Champagne Charlie,'' which is supported by a laugh-creating bit of nonsense by fchose pritiie comedy favourites ot the screen, Gracie Allen and George Burns, otherwise known as Burns and Allett, whose latest fun film "Here Com'es Cookie" measures up as first-rate eo-> medy entertainment.
