In Napier, Teehnical O.B. had just begtm their first innings at etuinps and have to mahe 223 to equal the first-innings fcotal of Napier H.S.O.B. A new series was begun in both the junior grades at Napier, and in the Junior A eection the best scores of the afternoon were 82 not out by Dean for High School and 74 for United by Butler.
