General Entry Day On Tuesday It should hardly be uecessary to issue a final reminder that general* entries for the Dannevirke A. and P, Association's ajinual show on February 9 and 10 close with the secretary, P.O. Box 38, Dannevirke, qjj Tuesday, January 26. The classes for pigs, honie industries and dairy produce are much on the lipes of previous years, and should attract |iig entries, especiaily in the section devoted to pigs, a class of stqck in which the interests of producers is steadily extending, Held in con j unction * with the A. and P, Association's show is the annual dog exhibition, aiways a strong feature of ; ihis popular autumn fixture, and on this occasion entries are expeeted toi cqme from all parts of New Zealand, as oue of the judges who will offieiate, Captain A. R. Hughes, F.JR.Gf.S., of ! Ueylon, a recognised authority, has not preYiously. aeted in such capacity in the Dominion. Dog ownerg should therefore welcome the opportunity of getting an qutside opinion. Captain Hughes will judge all breeds with the exception of Samoyeds, Alsatians, Col- : lies, Australian fcerriers, and pugs, the | awards for which will be made by Mr. I A. T. Bedingfield, of the Manawatu. | Those who have not recPived sehedules j at this late date may still obtain any i informatioa required on application to the secretary, and there i$ provision for the acceptance of late entries sliould they miss the earlier stipulated time. ' The sehedule throughout has been very iiberally endowed with prize money, and if antieipatxons are realised the 1937 show next month should be one of the best yet held under the auspices of the association
