Moa Skeletons
Tlxe eighth moa skeleton to be assemhled at the Wanganui Sluseum has been completed. This new skeleton is the second largest of a genus, of which there are four Irnown species. If is be,. lieved, that there is only one other specimen in New Zealand, this being in tlxe Auckland Museum. The Wanganui skeleton is the third to be assembled from tlxe deposit on the Todd Estate, Makirikiri, the other five skeletons having been made from bones ohtaxned on the Paul Estate.
