AUCKLAND, Jan. 22. A decision to notify their employer that they do not intend to accept meals at the expense of their employer but expect to .be paid their meal allowance in cash was reaqhed at a meeting of £0 barmen and porters employed by a large Auckland firm which controla a number of hotels. The meeting whn the outcome of .unrest because of a clause in the award which leaves the matter of deductiOns for. meals to the diseretion of employers. The men consider that they are entitled to a full cash wage.
