TUTIRA BREEDING EWES
Special Draft To Be Offered In consequence of Mr S. CFuthrie c3mith, tbe well-known pastoralist, of Tutira, having decided not to renew certain leases falling due, which Tvill necessitate • a substantial reduction in the carrying eapacity of the station, a draft of 6000 Tutira breeding ewes will shortly be placed on the market. Next month 3000 ewes, full-mouthed and over, will be offered, and in March a further 3000 2, 5 and 6-tooth ewos will be fceibmitted at Stortford Lodge. In order that the draft will not sufi'er any datriment through road travel, arrangements will be made to have the sheep railed at night from Tutira to Longlands. Buyers requiring sound, hardy gooddcing breeding ewes will be afforded Ihe opportunity of seeuring from this draft lines which will give very satiftfaetory returns to their new owners. The agency for this draft is in the hands of Williams and Kettie, Ltd., and further details will be advertised larer.
