Golf in Europe.

At a meeting in" Luxembourg a proposal to recommend the formation of a European Golf Federation was uhanimously adopted. Delegates attended from the English Golf Union, Franee, Germany, Czecho-Slovakia, Italy, Holland Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Sweden and Luxembourg. The proposed federation will abide by the x'ules of golf and amateur status as laid down by the Royal and Ancient Golf Clu.b of St. Andrews, but will in no way coneern itself with the domestic affairs of the various national unions.
