STOP-WORK MEETING
Agreement Read to Napier Watersiders TIME T0 BE MADE UP TO-NIGHT The Napier watersiders held a stopwork meeting for two and a-half'hours this morning wMle the Dominion seeretary of the New Zealand Water&ide Workers' Union read to them the agreement reached between the watersiders and the shipping employers regarding conditions of work, wages, etc. The hours not worked this morning will be made up this evening. At the Brealcwater are the Pukeko and the Totara, the former disehaTging geneTal cargo from Auckland and the latter loading wool for transhinment at Auckland to the Niagara. In the roadstead ,the Tekoa is loading wool and meat for England. She is expected to sail early this evening for Auckland^ The Kou tunui, a coastal vessel, is at Port Ahuriri diseharging wool from the East Coast. When this is finished she will load wool for Wellington to be transhipped to the motor-vessel Taranaki.
