Open Pairs Tournament ENGEBRETSEN DEFEATED

WAIPAWA. Jan. 19. The open pairs tournament conduct- , od by the iWaipawa Bowlingi Club was continued to-day, the weather being ideai and the green in first-class condition. Engebretsen, with four wins to his credit yesterday, suffered his first defeat this morning at the hands of Martin, and in round seven was defeated by Bowlands. } Wilson and Cummmgs (Havelock North) were the winners of the tournament with seven wins and one loss, and Bissell and Lassen* (Kia Toa) and Engebretsen and partner (Napier) witb six wins each tied for second place.
