Who nas reeently returned from a visit to England and the Continent, is to deliver an address on "Sidelights on the Fruitgrowing Industry jn Eilgland." Fruitgrowing in England has progressed by leaps and bounds since the World War, and there ar© no doubt many things which oUr New Zealand groweri can learn from their Bnglish brothers. A full attendance of association members is confidently anticipated, The Hawke's Bay Education Board mvites applications for admijssioii to Training College this year from candidates who, not having passod the usua) entrance examination, have a qualification not lower than a higher Ieaving certificate. Applications, whioh will be received until January 30, inUst be made on the prescribed forni, which ie obtainabl© at the board's. office, Browning street, Napier. Oandidates who have already applied need not subffiit a fresh application.
