' A yarding of 10,000 mcluded several weli-bred station drafts, which met witb spirited competition. A particularly weii-grown line of woolly wetber lambs, iu xorvvard order, from Hatuma made tbe splendid vaiue of 21/8. Sliorn wetber lambs in forward order made to 19/6. Fat and forward wetbers met witb an aetive inquiry to make to 25/-, witb two-tootbs reaiising 24/-. Fat-sbeep values depreeiated by: 1/- a , bead due to more intense competition, in wbicb exporters took a good part. Extra-good black-faced lambs made 27/8. Tbe cattle entries consisted of a few lots of Jersey sort-s of inferior to medium quality. Tbe only entry to command any attention was two well-grown beifers, wbicb were passed at £5 7/6. Tbe first entries of well-bred station ewe lambs met witb good competition to sell at 28/9 Eealisations were: — FAT SHEEP. Eigbt medium to beavy prime, wellwoolled wbite-faced lamhs realised 24/10. Ten medium prime. early-sborn wetbers sold at 24/-. Fourteen medium-grown. primequality lamhs in good order realised Eleven early-sborn, well-framed, heavy prime-quality wetbers in splendid order sold at 26/2. Eleven extra-prime beavy black-faced lambs, raised on a dairy larm, being of outstanding quality, realised 27/10. Seventeen medium to heavy ewes of average quality sold at 19/4. Five extra-prime heavy Down-crpss lambs made 27/5. A bid of 24/1 was offered for 27 well-grown Down-cross prime-quality beavy lambs. Twelve early-sborn, well-framed, heavy prime-finisbed wetbers, well done, made 26/4. , An entry of 27 black-faced, prime 2-th wetbers, a quality entry of mutton, sold at 22/10. STORE SHEEP. On accou'nt of Mr L. M. Monekton, 360 well-grown early-sborn Romney lambs in good order, a useful line, realised 18/-. These lambs were in healthy, fresb condition. On account of Mr/ W. Williamson, Wanstead, an entry of 180 very eariy sborn well-framed fat and forward wetbers in splendid order, an attraetive line and of good quality, sold at 26/-. On account of Mr Hugh Bennett, 347 small to medium woolly black-faced lambs, m ligbt to medium condition, sold at 16/7. On account of Mr A. G Ward, Wimbledon, 235 early-sborn -wbite-faced wotlier lambs, in quite good order and dipped, brougbt 17/4. On account of Fleming Bros., Tamumu, 130 woolly black-faced wetbers in forward condition, a useful finisbing line, made 20/2 On account of Eparaima, Ltd., Wanstead, an entry oi' 201 medium-grown blacHfaced la'uibs in forward condition, a very useful line, made 19/6. An entry of 687 well-grown earlysborn wbite-faced lambs in forward condition, baving been well done, made 19/9. On account of Mr. J. P. Lowe, Makaretu, 201 well grown and well-wool-led black-faced rape lambs, in quito good store order, realised 20/-. Two hundred and ninety-five wellgrown woolly black-faced wether lambs„ in forward order, kaVing been well done, made 20/0, making quite. fair . buying. On account of W. Chambers, Argyll, 244 white-faced medium to fairlygrown woolly wetber lambs made 19/-. On account of Mr. McRae, Hatuma, 127 well-grown and well-woolled wbitefaced lambs, in extra forward condition, baving beon well done and being a most attraetive line, sold at 21/8. On account of Mr. ConnelJ, Porangahau, 144 nieely-grown well-woolled white- faced ewe lambs, in splendid eonditioif, baving been well raised, met with ready competition to sell at 28/-. In from Hatuma, 127 early-sborn nicely-grown two-tooth wetbers, in forward store condition, oiade 24/1, On account of Mr. W. Williamson, Wanstead, 148 medium-grown sliorn wetber lambs in quite fair order made 17/7.
