H.B. RAM FAIR
Entries Not So Numerous This Year
The annual Hawke's Bay JRam Fair is to be lield at the Tomoana Showgrounds 011 ,Jauuary 28 and 29 next. The total number of sheep to be offered is 4989, compared with 5385 at the sale last year, representing a decrea'se of 396 this year. The record year in tbe last decade was 1927, wlten 7531 sheep were offered. The sale will commence at 9.30 o'clock each day, adjourning for luncli from 1 to 1.45 p.m. The order of selling is as follows : — First day. — Flock Romneys, flock Lincolns, flock Corriedales. Second day.— Flock Ryelands, Southdowns, and stud rams. The sale of stud raxns commences at 2 p.m, (second day), being sold simultancously'with tlie flock rams, as in former years.
