RIFLE SHOOTING
Okawa Club's Good Scores 'MemberS of the Okawa Rifle Club contested a single-round trophy match at Roy.'s Hill on Saturday. Conditions were ideal and a splendid standard of marksmanship was attained. Although H. Brehaut secured the-cniy possible, registered at 500 yards, four members recorded totals of 100 and better. The trophy resulted in a tie between A. R. Symons and W. J. Burton. The deciding shoot-off will take place later. Following are the scores in detail:
TEAMS MATCH The following have been selected t& represent the Okawa club in a friendly teams match on the Napier club's range next week-end: No. 1 team. — A. R. Symons, W. J. Burton, H. Brehaut, L. E. Brathwaite, S. L. Luxford. No. 2 team. — F. T. White, J. Sim, W. J. Green, B.-Patmore, F. Burton. To provide a programmo of shooting for the remainder, a practice match will ,be conducted at 500 and 600 yarda on the Roy's Hill range. Cars will leave from the Albert Hotel at 9 a.m.
