Mrs A. J. Anderson

The death occurred last week of Mrs Alice Jane Anderson, aged 82, of 6 Lawrence street, Mount Eden, Auckland. She was the widow of the late Mr Thomas Anderson, oue of the earliest colonists, who died about 10 years ago at the age of 94. Mr and Mrs Anderson wero married in Auckland, Mr.s Anderson being the daughter of the late Mr William Hanson, also a very old colonist, who died in Auckland in 1924 at the age of 99. Mr and Mrs Anderson lived for many years on the Oast coast, at Gisborne and later at Hastings, returning to Auckland in about 1916 and reinaining here. Mrs Anderson had a family of two daughter# and live sons, two of whom served in the Great War.
