Money For Wool Campaign Not Yet Raised YORKSHIRE OPPOSITION (Eeceived 18, 12.30 p.m.) MELBOUENE, Jan. 18. The negotiations with British wdolleu manufacturers about their promise to provide £50,000 a year for five years for a campaign to increase the consumption of wool are not yet comjflete. The Empire Wool Conference, which hag been sitting in Melbourne, did not discuss Bradford's promise, but it is understood that the delegates were informed that, although Bradford had not declined to support it had not raised auy mottey* It is believed that a small ahd powert'ul section of Yorkshire manufacturers is opposing the levy and, although manufacturers in Scotland favour the levy, they will not acti Until Bradford has joined the campaign.
