PORANGAHAU, Jan. 18. An enjoyable dance in aid of fundu for tlie Porangahau Maori Queen, was held in the Porangahau Hall on Friday evening. There was a good attendance, in spite of beavy rain all the evening. The music was supplied by Mr Bar'ney Otene's oichestra. Miss Edwards and Mis Hokianga played extras. Itemi were given by Miss Hine Kuru (tap dance), Mr Colin Scott (humorous sketch), Mr J. Roach "(huia) and Miss Kani and Moana (duet). Mr Hokianga and Miss Taylor, and Mr Roach and Miss Moana gave an.exhibition dance.
