BARK—WELLWOOD

I The wedding was solemni'sed at St. Matthew's Church, Hastings, at 10 a.m. on Saturday of Rhoda Mary (Molly), second daughter of Mrs A. = J. Wellwood and the late Mr Wellwood, ; York road, Hastings, and John George ("Doggie"), only sou of Mr and Mrs j. S. Bark, King street, Hastings. Canon C. ' Ior ti mer- Jones officiated. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr W. F. Wellwood, wore a model gown of navy silk patterned with shaded flame flowers. She wor© a navy hat, navy shoes and gloves and carried a bouquet of red roses and carnations. Her only attendant was his sister, Miss Kathleen Wellwood, whos© gown of saxe blue silk was patterned with navy and she wore a navy hat and accessories. She carried a bouquet of blue and white flowers arranged with maidenhair fern. Mr Lindsay Wellwood, "the bride's brother, was best man. After the ceremony a reception, at which relatives and close friends were present, was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents. The toast of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by Canon Mortimer- Jones and afterwards the bride cut the wedding cake, which was two-tiered and was a gift from the bridegroom's sistera. Mre A. J. Wellwood, the bride's mother, wore a floral silk frock and plain black marocain coat. She wore a black hat and carried a bouquet of* red roses. Mrs J. A. Bark, the bridegroom's mother, wore a frock of navy blue pinspoted silk with a navy hat. Her bouquet was of pink roses. When the bride and bridegiroom left for their honeymoon tour in the north the bride travelled in a frock of pink linen stitched with navy. Her hat, shoes and gloves wer© navy and also her purse, this being a gift from the bridegroom.
