Bennett, advises that the position of the London meat market at December 3 was as under: — N.Z. lambs, Down, 2 's (new season's), 7^5, 7§d; seeondary lambs, Down (new season's), 7fd-7£d; N.Z. lambs, 2's (new season's), 7£d-7fd; N.Z. lambs, 8's (new season's), 7^d7id; N.Z. lambs, 4's (new season's), not quoted; seeondary lambs (new season's), 7^d-7|d; N.Z. mutton, small, 5d5|d; N.Z. mutton, large, 4d-4|d; N.Z. ewes, small, 4d-4Jd; N.Z. ewes, large, 3£d-3|d; N.Z. beef, ox hinds (frozen), 32d-4d;, N.Z. beef, fores, 24d-2^d; Dominion chilled hinds, 5id-54d, fores 3^d34d; South American chilled hinds, 5£d6id, fores 3id-3|d; N.Z. pork, 6|d-7|d; Australian lambs, 5|d-7d; Argentine lambs, 5fd-6fd. Lambs. — The demand is moderate, with px'ices a little lower. Wethers.— The market is quiet and unchanged. Ewes.— Weakqr values I'uling owing to lack of demand. Chilled Beef. — Smaller supplies have caused prices- to harden. Pork.— The market is steady and no material change is expected yet. Trade generally is affected by un* favoxxrablo weather.
