HAWERA MEN IS CLUB.

ANDERSON CUP MATCHES

Good progress- is being made in tlie i|latches for the Anderson Cup at the Hawera golf links. Members of the men’s club arc showing keen enthusiasm and good contests have resulted. The last match in the first round was won by P,. O. Veaj.e, B, White defaulting. In the second round several were played last week. J. J. Pease beat Stead 3 and 2, McDonald beat Veale and Snowsill beat T. McKenzie 2 and 1. There are still five to -be played and members are reminded that the committee is anxious for these to be completed this week.
