SCHOOL ROOT CROPS

PROGRESS OF JUDGING. ROYS AND GIRLS’ CLUBS. Mr. Rod Svme and Mr. O. Haynes visited the Oka-iawa and Te Roti districts on Friday, judging the root crop plats in the Roys and Girls’ Club competition. Results were: OKAIAWA. Mangolds.

Judging will be completed on lionday, when 16 plots at Riverlea will he visited.

ENTRIES AT MANUTAHI. (From Our Own Correspondent). On Thursday Messrs J. B. Hogg (agricultural instructor) and Mr Lons-.-.a.e Fields Division) carried- out the mdghiig and weighing of the Manutalii school plots in the Boys and Girls’ Clubs competition. The judges commented very favourably on the cultivation of the "plots. Chart marks null be available in about a week’s time. Maximum marks were; Cultivation 40 and quality 10.
