OKAIAWA

CROQUET 500 EVENING. Mrs R. Shearer and Mrs W. G. Williams were hostesses, at a flag 50.) evening in aid of the Okaiawa Croquet Club funds at the residence of Mrs Williams on Thursday. The winning table was occupied by Mrs D. Edwards and Mrs AY. J. Blair. Messrs G. Good and E. J. Betts. During the evening Mrs Mackie and Miss Mackie played a pianoforte duet, elocutional J items were, given by Mrs McCallum and Miss Mackie sang two songs. Mrs Roe won a guessing competition, and a “lucky number” was won by Mrs Mackie. Simper was served by the hostesses.
