Brilliant scenes were witnessed at Windsor Castle to-day at their Majesties’ garden party. Two thousand guests were present, representing; 66 nations, including the delegates- to the conference. This is the first garden party at Windsor for 20 years. Their Majesties were attended bv the Duke and Duchess of York, the Princess Royal (the Countess of Hafibwood), the Duke of Gloucester and Prince George. Under a scarlet- and gold Indian Durban tout they received the- chief delegates bv the Ambassadors, while the High Commissioners introduced the Dominion representatives.
