"PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Eating Act 1925,” and by the “Counties Act, 1020,”, and. amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Council of the County of Hawera at the regular meeting of the said Council to be held at the Council Chamber*, Princes Street, Hawera, at 10.30 a.m. on SATURDAY 7 , the Bth day of July, 3933, to make and levy the following General Rates on the basis of the Cap ital Value of all rateable property within the respective Ridings of the County a 3 follows: — HAWERA RIDING (Outlying Dis tri'ct), ljd in the £. MOKOIA RIDING, Id in the £. ARARAT A RIDING, Id in the £. Such Rates shall be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April 1933, and ending on the 31st day or March, 1934, and shall become payable in one.sum to the County Treasurer at the County Office, Princes Street, Hawera, on the 9th day of August, 1933. Also, the annually recurring Separate Pine Prevention Rate of one-sixth of a permy in- tfoc £ on the value of buildings! only over that portion, of the County as described in the special, schedule for such purpose, will be levied and made payable on the same date and for the same period. , . . , All such Rates shall be subject to a penalty, of 10% per cent, if not paid within six months and 14 days from date of demand.
