Smuts (South Africa) is interesting himself in the AngloIrish dispute, says the political correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph,” and is interviewing the Free State and British leaders- with a view to a resumption of formal conversations, hut it is doubtful whether Mr Eamon cfe Valera is prepared to engage in negotiations at present.
