PALMERSTON N., June 14. A remit to the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association annual meeting from South Auckland urging the election of members of the council on a ward system was rejected to-day, but it was decided to investigate the proP °The council was elected 1 as follows: Messrs C. S. Ross. (Te Puke), A. RGudopp (New Plymouth), E. H. Galpm (Canterbury), P. S. Stevens, J. A. McLinden (Palmerston North) and W. 1 . Bickers (Feilding).
