KING COUNTRY CHALLENGE
FINANCIAL AID SOUGHT.

CHRISTCHURCH, June 14. A meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union received from the King Country Union confirmation of September 30 as the date for the match with Canterbury at Christchurch for the Raniurly Shield. The hope was expressed that tins Canterbury Rugby Union would decide to extend’ to the King’ Country similar financial aid as that given Waikato last season.
The request concerning expenses was referred to the finance committee.
