FRENCH SLOOP DELAYED
ILLNESS QF TWO’ OFFICER,S
ONE SENT TO HOSPITAL

AUCKLAND, June 12
Owing to the illness of two officers the departure of the French sloop Savorgnan de Brazza lias been postponed from to-day until 7 o’clock tomorrow morning. The isecond-in-com-mand, Lieut. La vale, was sent to hospital to-day and it is likely that he will not sail with the ship.
Commander Rosati to-day thanked the authorities and the public for hospitality during, two, splendid weeks in Auckland.
