The ftoval Commissioner, Mr Sha.rnl, K.C. whose inquiry into the operations ot the Milk Board occupied several months, has presented his report, in which he finds no evidence substantiating any improper or corrupt practices. There is, lie states, no evidence of any undue influence having been used to have certain appointments made'to the board. On the contrary, having regard le the great difficulties, of controlling the milk supply of a great city, the commissioner is satisfied that every member of the board endeavoured honestly and -successfully to perform the duties imposed by the Milk Act.
