MID-WEEK COMPETITION

ANOTHER ROUND TO BE PLAYED

At a meeting- of the Hawera midweek Rugby committee on Saturday it was decided to play another round in the competition. At the conclusion of this a knock-out competition for Mr A. R. Elgar’s Cup will be played. The draw is:

June 21—Meremere v. City, at Meremere; Ohangai v. Normanby, at Nonnanby. July s—Meremere v. Normanby, at Meremere; City v. Ohangai, at Ohangai ; City v. Normanby, at Hawera. July 12—Meremere v. Ohangai, at Ohangai; City v. Normanby, at Hawera.

The knock-out- competition draw is: Ohangai v. Normanby, City v. Meremere, both to he played' at Hawera on July 10. The final will 'ho played the following Wednesday. There will he no games on the clay of tho Wellington match.
