JAPAN ’S MISFORTUNES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT TOKIO, Dec. 29. *-A fire late last night in a private lunatic asylum in Tokio- resulted in many fatalities. Of 343 inmates 108 are missing. Thirteen corpses have already been recovered. The fire spread and destroyed fifty other houses 'before it was ' extinguished. 1 1 orty-seven bodies have been recovered up to the present from the Otaru explosion disaster. The injured total 450.
