SUICIDE AT WELLINGTON

BOXING DAY TRAGEDY. (by telegraph-press association. ' WELLINGTON, Dec. 27. A man, whose identity is not known, approached two men who were talking on Lambton Wharf last night, and when within- fifteen yards of them exclaimed“ Here goes!” and jumped into the water. The men scrambled down the piles and searched in-the water for the stranger, hut could not locate him, nor could the police, who subsequently searched with grappling irons.
