SWIMMING.
PROPOSALS FOR CHAAfPIONSITIPS
(by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 20. At a meeting of the New Zealand Swimming Council a report by the committee was adopted stating that, in its opinion, the council in future should insist that championships be concluded bv the end of January. If that were done arrangements could be made to get Australian swimmers over in February.
