TEST MATCH PROSPECTS. AN EXPERT’S OPINION. BY CABLE— PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Dec. 20, 9.25 a.m.) .. LONDON, Dec. 19. Mr P. .I°. "Warner, in the Morning Post, says that England lias justification to hone for success in the first Test match, as they have the best bowler in - the world in Tate, and an array of batsmen who on a good wicket will cause the Australians to toil hard unci long. The Australians, however, also have nine men capable of making a century. Freeman js the; most likely to help Tate, who .fortunately has the stamina to bowl all day. Sandham’s inclusion i 6 justified, as he is a capital outfielder. Good throwers and runners are needed with so many slow bowlers. Given equal conditions England will win, because Tate is the best bowler on either side. The bowling of Gregory, Mailey, Ivelleway ancl Hendrv on paper in good enough to get Hobbs' and 'company out under 400.
