LIBERAL-LHABOUR PARTY.

A meeting of the local branch of the Liberal-Labour League was held la«t evening. Mr H. Atmore, M.P. for. Nelson, who has been visiting Taranalci, was also present. Addresses were given by Messrs Atmore and J. R. Corrigan, the member for the district. In spite of the bad weather there was a splendid attendance. A strong committee was §et up to organise the electorate, and will begin operations after the Christmas holidays. It was announced that Messrs Wilford, Masters, Veitch, Sidey and Forbes, who comprise the' executive of the LiberalLabour Party, will begin their 'South Island tour immediately after the New Year. Meetings will be addressed and candidates selected in the various electorates in the south. . It is proposed to strongly contest every seat throughout the whole of the Dominion.
