NOVELIST “WANTED.”
A GOVERNMENT ANNOYED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPY BIGHT MADRID, Dec. 17. The' novelist Blascoibanez, now resident abroad, whose pamphleteering attacks on Alfonso and the Directory greatly annoyed the Spanish Government,. lias been summoned to appear before a military court within a fortnight to answer for the publication of his latest book, “Alfonso Thirteenth and Military Terror- in Spain.” It is noteworthy that the Home Secretary was recently questioned in the British House of Commons about the book. He denied he had prohibited its publication in England, but admitted that he caused enquiries to be made in regard to it. He was unable to secure a copy.
