PRISONERS SENTENCED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Dec. 17. At the Supreme Court Judge Stringer sentenced Doris Ellen Brown (25), for theft of money by the.alteration of a bank withdrawal slip, to three years’ reformative treatment. R'alpli Roy Roberts, a youth who was charged with arson, which appeared to be m foolish escapade, was giver: three years’ probation. Frederick Janies Daniel Sands (73). for carnal knowledge of a girl 14 years and 4 months old, was. remanded for sentence till Friday.
